April 1st – 3rd
The Studios of Key West presents, ‘Dignity, Always Dignity: A Post-Apocalyptic Cabaret’

Following an apocalyptic event in 2022, Tony-nominated Broadway star Bryce Pinkham finds himself stranded, coming to terms with his fate and the fate of all humanity. Bryce passes the time attempting to perform the entirety of Singin’ in the Rain, determined to ‘make em laugh’ all the way to the end. Shows 8 p.m. You won’t want to miss this.

April 3rd – 5th
Fifth Annual Papio Kinetic Sculpture Parade

If one man’s junk is another man’s treasure, then the late Key Largo folk artist Stanley Papio was most certainly a treasure hunter extraordinaire. Fans of “outsider art” can celebrate the renegade metal sculptor’s fabulous legacy with a people-powered and extremely amusing parade of mobile sculptures crafted in the spirit of his extraordinary artistic work and fabulous creations.

The Papio Kinetic Sculpture Parade (April 4) features many colorful sculptural floats, tricycles with exotically costumed riders, fantastically decorated bicycles and other amazing moving works of art, all powered by human effort alone, as they follow a route along the length of Key West’s Duval Street.

April 5th
Rams Head Production presents: The Temptations

No matter what changes in personnel occur within the band, The Temptations have remained true to The Temptations tradition and legacy. The Temps began their fantastic musical career in Detroit back in the early sixties. It wasn’t until 1964, however, that the Smokey Robinson written-and-produced “The Way You Do The Things You Do” turned these guys into huge musical stars.

Make your way to Sunset Green Event Lawn situated between 24 North and The Gates Hotel on North Roosevelt Boulevard to catch one of the country’s most legendary bands to come out of the Motown era. Tickets available online. Doors open 5:30 p.m., show starts 7 p.m.

Key West Artisan Market: Ocean Awareness Edition

Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium will be on hand to help you learn ways we can protect our most precious resources and promote the Mote Marine Ocean Fest celebration. Please ride your bike and BYOB (bring your own bag).

Enjoy a full bar, coffee, smoothies, natural juices and cut fruit, multiple food trucks and stalls offering eat-here or take-away. Shop a curated outdoor market offering fine crafts, art and jewelry from talented Florida Keys makers. Stock your pantry and fridge with fresh produce, artisan cheeses, local seafood, honey, pickles and so much more.

From 10 am to 2 pm at Clarence H. Higgs Memorial Beach. The market is conveniently located close to the free West Martello Tower botanical gardens, White Street Pier and of course, the alluring Atlantic ocean.

April 9th
The Studios of Key West presents: Cary Morin

Part of TSKW Old Town New Folk Series. Described as “one of the best acoustic pickers on the scene today,” Morin plays with a deft finger style and melodic vocals that veer from elation to gritty world-weariness. Morin’s inimitable style is often characterized as acoustic Native Americana, blending qualities of blues, bluegrass, jazz, jam, reggae, and dance. Showtime 8 p.m., 533 Eaton St. Tickets $35 General ($10 discount for members – advance only).

April 10th
Rams Head Presents Key West: 38 Special at Key West Sunset Green Event Lawn

After more than four decades together, 38 SPECIAL continues to bring their signature blast of Southern Rock to over 100 cities a year. And at each and every show, thousands of audience members are amazed by the explosive power of the band’s performance. Doors open 5:30 p.m., show starts 7 p.m, at Sunset Green Event Lawn, 3820 N. Roosevelt Blvd.

South Florida Symphony presents Masterworks IV: Stravinsky, Delius, Beethoven

The spectacular season concludes with Stravinsky’s mythical and rarely performed full ballet score of The Firebird; renowned British composer Frederick Delius’ only Piano Concerto, featuring internationally acclaimed pianist Mark Bebbington; and Beethoven’s spirited Coriolan Overture. With activities such as a lighthearted sea battle featuring tall ships, the Conch Republic’s 10-day birthday party showcases the independent and eccentric spirit that characterizes the Florida Keys.

Rams Head Presents – Key West: The Revivalists

As part of the Into the Stars headlining tour, the New Orleans-based, eight-piece American rock band The Revivalists are to perform at Coffee Butler Key West Amphitheater at Truman Waterfront Park, 35 East Quay Rd. The soulful alt-rock anthems on their latest album translate into a live powerhouse of a performance, complete with soaring pedal steel guitar, pounding percussion, irresistible horns and topped off with charismatic front man David Shaw’s undeniable voice. Special guests include Stephen Marley and PJ Morton. Doors open 5:30 p.m., show starts 7 p.m.

Key West Paddle Classic
Presented by Lazy Dog Adventures, the challenge includes a 12-mile Elite Race around the island and a 4-mile open race. Other events include a kick-off registration party, paddleboard clinics and races for kids.
